About
Gayatri Ram
I write stories that blend cultures, challenge silence, and celebrate quiet strength. My fiction is rooted in the real—stories of women navigating complex lives with resilience and grace.

Fiction is my way of making space for layered voices and untold truths. If you love emotional storytelling with hope at its core, you’re in the right place.

I’ve lived in Wellington, New Zealand, for 38 years, but my roots stretch back to Fiji and carry the richness of South Pacific, New Zealand, and Indian cultures. I am a public servant with deep corporate experience, and these stories are my utopias—drawn from life’s trials, triumphs, and quiet perseverance.

I identify with the words of Elizabeth Edwards:
“She stood in the storm, and when the wind did not blow her way, she adjusted her sails.”

That is the spirit I write from—and write for.
